Spring Break

Spring Break came and went entirely too quickly! We started the week working on the house. We painted the new baby's room....but still have to finish it because as I was working on the 2nd coat, I realized the paint store gave me the wrong color!!! I was so annoyed. I told them they should send someone out to paint for me (they thought I was joking and just gave me a new gallon of paint and free supplies). We also set up Lilly's "new" crib and moved the "old" crib into the new baby's room (because it matches the changing table). I'll post pictures as soon as the room is a finished product.

BY THE WAY: We have a name for this new baby....

Katherine Elizabeth Ciardi

We will call her Kate.

Both Katerine and Elizabeth are family names on multiple sides of our families.

We actually switched rooms with the new baby. Our new room is more seperate, so hopefully in the first few weeks, Miss Kate won't wake up Miss Lilly. We'll see about that! Chris also worked on putting up the chair rail in Lilly's room. It's ALMOST finished.

After we worked non-stop for 4 days, Chris' mom came into town for a few days since we weren't able to make it up to New York. It was really nice to have her here...especially having another pair of hands for Miss Lilly. We mostly just hung out around town (going out to eat, going to Vintage Township and their park, playing at Toys R Us, going to an old-fashioned soda fountain, working in the yard, and hanging out at the house)....it was a lot of fun and lots of rest.





I think I've finally realized that this baby is really on her way! We have 9 weeks to go before she comes...and SOOOO much to do! Overall, I've felt really good. Yes, I'm fat and tired. I figure the tired part comes more from chasing a toddler than from being pregnant!
